Did you know that because October 1 marks the beginning of the tax collection period for property taxes in Alabama, no county revenue or collector’s office may accept payments prior to October 1? That’s why most tax notices are mailed to property owners at the end of September or October 1. Cullman County’s 2015 tax notices are in the mail and should be received by homeowners today.
You may pay online on the Revenue Commission website (www.cullmanrevenuecommissioner.com), by mail, or in person at the Cullman County Courthouse or one of its satellites office located in Baileyton, Dodge City, or Hanceville. Contact the office via telephone at (256) 775-4776 if you have any questions that aren’t answered on the website.
