Update May 27: Cullman County vs. City blood drive 2021 announced

Update: because of the great interest in making blood donations, LifeSouth Blood Centers has requested donors sign up for a specific time slot if possible. See the following links for available times. Thank you for your donation of lifesaving blood!
Announced today is the annual “County vs. City” blood drive courtesy of the Cullman County Commission, City of Cullman, and the Cullman County Cattleman’s Association. This important event is Friday, June 4, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm. Your participation is both welcome and needed.

Four donor sites include the south entrance to the Cullman County Courthouse, the Olive Street Walmart (county donor sites), the north Cullman Shopping Center in front of Dick’s Sporting Goods, and the Highway 157 Walmart (city donor sites).

Make plans to donate and bring friends, family, and strangers to donate. **All donors will receive a steak sandwich as a thank-you gift from the Cattleman’s Association, as well as coupons and a special day-of-drive tee-shirt.** Steak sandwiches are for donors only; none will be available for sale to non-donors.

Share this news far and wide, and we’ll see you there. Remember: one pint of blood can save up to three local lives!
