The annual County vs. City blood drive is next Friday, June 16, and donors are needed for all blood types. There’s an urgent need for type O blood, especially, as blood banks are hitting the annual summertime emergency shortage levels.
In addition to a great tee-shirt designed just for this drive’s donors, every donor will receive a $20 e-gift card (with double-red and platelet donors receiving an extra $20 e-gift card), plus a Lawler’s free sandwich coupon, and a coupon for free cookie dough with purchase at Papa Murphy’s.
COUNTY donor sites include the courthouse parking lot and the south Walmart location. CITY donor sites include the Publix parking lot and the north Walmart.
