The US Labor Day holiday is celebrated annually on the first Monday in September to recognize and to honor the contributions made to the US and abroad by the American worker. Officially becoming a federal holiday in 1894, Labor Day not only celebrates American ingenuity and work ethic, but also today Labor marks the unofficial end to summer and the start of many sports’ seasons, including the beloved American football season.
The Cullman Revenue Commission and all Cullman County offices will be closed on Monday, September 4, 2023 in observance of Labor Day.
