Remember, ad valorem property taxes are due October 1 annually and may be paid with no penalties or interest through December 31 each year.
This means all 2015 property tax payments must be received in full or postmarked with full payment by December 31, 2015. All property taxes become delinquent on January 1, and penalties and interest accrue beginning on January 1.
In observance of the New Year’s Day holiday, the Cullman County Revenue Department will be closed Friday, January 1, 2016. Normal operating hours for the Revenue Department at the courthouse are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Satellite offices are closed daily at noon for lunch.
