“Character is like a tree and reputation like a shadow. The shadow is what we think of it; the tree is the real thing.” ~~ Abraham Lincoln
Originally created to celebrate President George Washington’s birthday, “Presidents’ Day” now also celebrates Abraham Lincoln and all other presidents who have come before, serving America on the world stage. Presidents’ Day 2017 is Monday, February 20. In observance of the holiday, all Cullman County offices, including the Cullman Revenue Commission, will be closed. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, February 21.
