The 2023 Alabama property tax collection period begins October 1. To make property tax payments as convenient as possible, the Cullman Revenue Commissioner offers the following options:
- Online: property owners may begin submitting 2023 property tax payments online on October 1 via Visa, MasterCard, or Discover cards. Please be advised the credit card processor charges a 2.75% transaction fee plus a $0.30 convenience fee. This does not go to Cullman County.
- In office: property owners may begin making in-person property tax payments on October 2.
- At satellite locations, payments may be made via check, credit or debit card, money order, or cashier’s check (no cash).
- At the courthouse location, payments may include the above or cash.
- Mail: property owners may mail their tax payments through December 31, 2023 with no interest or late fees. Payments mailed with postmarks of January 2, 2024 or later are subject to late fees and penalties.
