All revenue offices will also be closed in observance of Thanksgiving on November 27-28, 2025. Normal hours will resume on Monday, December 1 for all tag, title, and property tax customers.
While annual property taxes are due on October 1, they’re payable through December 31 with no interest or penalties for that tax year. There is still plenty of time to mail property tax payments via postal services, to pay in person, or to drop payment in the courthouse drop box on 1st Avenue behind the Cullman County Courthouse.
For those who prefer to make online property tax payments, property taxes may be paid via the revenue website at cullmanrevenuecommissioner.com. Please note: the credit card processor charges a fee of 2.75% + $0.30 on all card transactions.
The Cullman County Christmas holiday will be observed Wednesday, December 24 through Friday, December 26, 2025. While staff will not be available for those three days, the Cullman Revenue Commissioner’s website will be available for online property tax payments, as well as for new vehicle purchases/tag transfers within 20 days of the date of purchase *from a licensed Alabama dealer.*
The Cullman Revenue Commissioner’s offices will be closed a half day on New Year’s Eve and all day on New Year’s Day. Postmarks of December 31 will be honored.
